May 11, 2016I have a 1988 Toyota pickup 22r that is losing coolant through exhaust. No steaming, engineruns fine but will lose about a quart of coolant in about 2 miles after reaching operating temperature. No problem with water pump. changed radiator cap from a 6 to a 14 lb and lost coolant faster. took the thermostat out and helped some but the 2 stage choke will not operate correctly without the thermostat.I would greatly appreciate any help with this. And, thew engine was rebuilt about 20,000 miles ago i think, might have been longer. It was not rebuilt to stock although i have no paperwork on how it was done. 125 mph 22r engine. Thanks in advance for any and all help!!!!
