November 11, 2007I have been Toying (pun intended) with the idea of buying a 4cylinder front wheel drive car about the size of a Corolla that has been wrecked from the rear, and an old VW Rabbit pickup truck. In case any of you younger guys don't know what they are, the rabbit pickup was a front wheel drive unibody very small pickup based on the Rabbit compact car of the '70s or '80s. I would like to cut off the wrecked back of the Corolla right behind the front seats, and cut the back of the Rabbit truck, keeping the cab back and box together ( remember unibody, box and cab are one piece, no separate frame ).
Then I would graft the truck box and cab back onto the front half of the Corolla. Yes it would take a lot of body work to finish it off to look good, but I think I could do it.
Now the questions: 1. Would it be cool or dorky?
2. Would I be able to remain a TTW member with a Toywagan truck? or
